Day #27

I went to New Farm this morning to drop my CV at a friend's ice-cream shop, so that yet another friend could come and pick it up to pass it to a third friend could hand it to the hotel he works at, given that they are looking for Front Office staff. By ''friend'' I mean of course, ''friend of Sabrina'' - all three of them. She came along too and I'd better learn fast to bake cakes so that I can start to pay back.

In the afternoon I sent some more CVs on the Internet, but tried a different approach when asked for a cover letter. Let's say I - kind of - adopted the style I use on here, which is actually nothing more than the way I think and speak daily. So, I left behind the formal, stiff me I usually reserve for when I give a damn and started screwing around with words and witty jokes. I mean, since I'm getting no job anyway, changing a little bit the way I present myself can only do me good, ain't it?
